Lloyd Bannings is back in his hometown, following his older brother. He has joined an organization called the Crossbell Police Department. He is assigned to Division SS, the Special Support Section division, that is a variety of odd jobs, and aids those in need. He and his new teammates slowly discover that their lively city is hiding a dark criminal underbelly…as as well as several terrifying secrets.

Crossbell is the site of a constant dispute over the territory between both the Erebonian Empire as well as the Republic of Calvard, Crossbell has developed into a flourishing city-state that is one of the continent’s top economically-driven centers.
After three years away from his hometown, Lloyd Bannings returns in an effort to follow in the footsteps of his deceased brother’s path and join with the Crossbell Police Department. The moment he gets there, he finds that the department has assigned him to Special Support Section. This is the division that takes care of small and unusual needs. His new team comprises Elie MacDowell (granddaughter of the mayor); Randy Orlando (ex-soldier who’s womanizing) And Tio Plato (young technological genius).
Though their department is mocked by the media and looked down to by other members of the CPD, Lloyd and his colleagues continue to work for their city to become more livable. Then they find themselves faced with the pervasive corruption ravaging their city. Little do they know just how deep the shadows of Crossbell City go…
